How The Pretty Woman Club, The GoodFellas Club & Pretty Good Eventz came about...

Welcome to our Clubs!!!

In mid-August 2021, The Pretty Woman Club was started 'after' Covid-19 to help us to get back out there and Ladies' mental health. The intention was and is to meet for walks that end with a drink or two. If you want to make new friends or need someone to talk to, come and join us for a walk, for the drinks or both x

Why is it free? Although mental health has always been important, I saw a group for men to meet to be able to talk and walk - a safe place for them to share any problems and make new friends in the area - I wanted to offer the same but something slightly different (with the drink to include all the women in the community regardless of ability or want to walk) to do my bit to help the women in my community and help mental health. I chose 'The Pretty Woman Club' as a name as I love the film.

A few weeks later The GoodFellas Club for men was born for the same reason because the group I had seen for men all met in London.

Come along to a free #walktalkdrink with your community - I organise these for members weekly - currently from ten venues within the areas stated on the group - of course all are welcome - but the meets are usually held in and around Coulsdon, Reigate, Oxted, Tandridge, Warlingham, Godstone, Caterham, Purley, Kenley, Chaldon, Nutfield. More new walks are being created from new pubs and areas. These are usually created at least two weeks before.

Our door is always open to new members to both The Pretty Woman and The GoodFellas Clubs. We have 1.6k Pretty Woman Members and we have 160 GoodFellas on Facebook and we are growing each week which is so lovely. We also have other Members through the Newsletters for those who have been unable to see our meets due to not being on social media.

I am doing this service for free for my community - but if you would like to donate to our three chosen charities (Cancer Research/ MacMillan and MIND) for me organising these, please do.

Please do come and join us at our next #walktalkdrink or event — each meet and event brings familiar faces and new people along which is so lovely. This group is private to keep where we are meeting for our walks and our members safe and for support within our community amongst us pretty women to help each other and be there whenever any one of us needs it.

I sometimes do joint #walktalkdrinks with The GoodFellas Club so if you have a partner, you can come to these together.

How Pretty Good Eventz started...

Due to Members of The Pretty Woman & The GoodFellas Clubs wanting to socialise doing all the things we love not just walks; lunches, dinners, cinema trips, cake, trips to the theatre - local and the West End and more which is so lovely - I have extended my business and now create events for us and it is called PRETTY GOOD EVENTZ!

As we now have a website, you can also view our weekly #walktalkdrinks for both clubs on our website. To keep them private and us safe, to view them, you need to sign-up with your email address to the website. You will need to wait after signing up to be approved to view them and 'buy' your free tickets to attend.

If you would like to attend the additional events I organise, you can either pay the one-off Non-Member Ticket OR become a member of the Subscription (at £6 per month) to be able to purchase PGE Member's tickets at a discounted rate.

I am so proud to have helped people meet from all over South London, East Surrey and Reigate & Banstead and beyond.  Every single Pretty Woman and GoodFella I have met at a walk or an event so far have been such lovely people and have become true friends - it really is all of you that has made these groups what they are.

Hopefully it goes without saying, this group is for looking after our own mental health, helping others, kindness and making new friends. Please be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

I look forward to meeting you on a walk or event.

Thank you. Love Jules 🙂💕 x
